Police in San Jose are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the city early this morning. Officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in a home in the 1500 block of Capitol Avenue at about 6 a.m., San Jose police Office Jose Garcia said.A woman at the residence told police that a man had come into her home and shot her friend, Garcia said.Paramedics tried to revive the victim but he was declared dead at the scene, Garcia said. The victim was a man in his 20′s. It has not been determined if the shooting was gang related.No suspect information was available this morning.
