A man who was shot to death in Richmond on Friday night has been identified as 19-year-old Andrew Manriquez, of San Pablo, a Contra Costa County deputy coroner said today.The shooting happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Dunn Avenue, Richmond police Lt. George Garcia said.When officers arrived, they found Manriquez outside of a home. He died at the scene, Garcia said.
That shooting was followed by a second shooting at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Harbour Way, Garcia said.A man suffering gunshot wounds was found on the sidewalk and taken to a hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries. An update on his condition was not immediately available this morning.As of Sunday, investigators had not established any connection between the two shootings, Garcia said.
