Three men were arrested for their alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting in Antioch this afternoon, according to police. Officers responded to a report of a drive-by shooting near Sycamore Drive and Banyan Way at about 1:50 p.m., police said. As police arrived to the intersection, they located the suspects’ car and attempted to stop it. The car kept moving, and one of the suspects jumped out near Lemontree Way. Soon after, he was arrested by officers, who found the suspect with a handgun, according to police. The car eventually crashed into a small wall in front of a home on Gloucester Court, police said. The driver and one remaining suspect in the car were also arrested after briefly running away from officers. Soon after the arrest, officers found a building near the 1600 block of Sycamore Drive that had been struck with several rounds of ammunition. The three suspects names haven’t been released. One is 18 years old from Bay Point, and the other two are both 21 years old from Antioch, according to police. No injuries were reported.
