* Sausalito burglary at 10 Cloudview Road

Officers responded to reports of a home burglary in Sausalito on Sunday evening, police said.Police responded to 10 Cloudview Road at about 5:50 p.m. During a search of the home, officers heard noises coming from the attic and found a footprint on a wall near a closet panel which accessed the attic.
A Novato K-9 unit also discovered the suspect’s scent in the area, police said.Police requested assistance from the Marin County special response team and the hostage negotiation team.Officers evacuated the surrounding houses and over 30 deputies and support staff assisted at the scene.
The special response team searched the attic and found it unoccupied, police said.Police said the total loss is not yet known and a suspect has not been identified.The incident is under investigation.
