* Fabian Pena Ruvalcaba Found Shot and Killed Under Car in Moss Landing

A man was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound under a car in Moss Landing Saturday morning, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said. Fabian Pena Ruvalcaba was found at about 6:45 a.m. under a gray 1985 Mercedes sedan in the 100 block of Struve Road, the sheriff’s office said. A passing motorist noticed Ruvalcaba under the Mercedes and called 911. The California Highway Patrol arrived first on scene and determined Ruvalcaba was dead, the sheriff’s office said. Sheriff’s deputies responded and determined he appeared to have been shot. His autopsy was pending today, and no suspects had been
identified.
