The cop did the right thing.

    1. the guy was drunk—seriously drunk, they don’t know what they are doing and most drunks because they haven’t a clue what they are doing is wrong will not comply.

    2. the drunk was out of line by refusing to leave—he uped the ante—Drunks 80 percent of the time become mean and vicious, this drunk refused to leave totally his fault

    3. the police officer used the correctly trained moves to restrain a beligerent suspect, espeically if the cop has no idea if the suspect a DRUNK suspect has a weapon.

    4. I have been to soccer games, I will never–EVER go to another soccer game again, I have been hit, pushed, vomited on by drunk soccer fans. The cop did the right thing.

    5. later on I dated a cop, he told me what they go through, and said that anyone who is married to a police officer or is dating a police officer have to be aware of the stress and horrible scenes that police officers, firemen, EMT’s see, that the public never see’s and would never understand. Thanks to that cop I dated I went back to major in psychology.

If I was on that jury I would say the cop did the right thing.
