* Marcellus Bradley Identified as Oakland Fatal Shooting Victim

A man who was fatally shot during an altercation in East Oakland Wednesday evening has been identified as 27-year-old Marcellus Bradley of  Oakland, according to a police spokesman. Officer Holly Joshi said police went to the 2000 block of 55th Avenue at about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday after receiving reports that someone had been shot. Officers found Bradley suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, she said. The motive for the murder was still under investigation today, and no suspects had been arrested, Joshi said. She said anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the homicide unit at (510) 238-3821.
