* Jonathan Quinn Wafer Arrested by San Jose Police for Alleged Murder of Brian Mathew Hays

On 3/25/2011, at approximately 7:00 A.M., San Jose Police officers located and arrested a suspect, Jonathan Quinn Wafer in the alleged January 28th murder of Brian Mathew Hays.  Officers located the suspect near the intersection of Quimby Road and Capitol Expressway.

On 1/28/2011, Brian Mathew Hays  was found bleeding from the face in the 2700 block of Aborn Road.  He was transported to a local hospital, where he underwent treatment for his injuries.  On 2/6/2011, he died as a result of his injuries.  The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner subsequently ruled the death a homicide.  Investigation into the homicide revealed that Hays received blunt-force injuries.  Detectives were able to identify Jonathan Wafer through a thorough examination of the physical evidence, physical injuries and witness statements.  The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
