Nashville, Tennesse Metro police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in this video. Detectives report that a convicted robber, Narrell Pierce and another man walked into the Lewis Street market and allegedly tried to rob the clerk at gun point. The clerk pulled out a gun and a wild shootout ensued. No one was shot, even though the shots were fired at very close range. The video shows the men running from the market. They did not get away with any money. Pierce was on parole after being convicted in 2004 on six counts of aggravated robbery. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for those convictions. Police said they do not know who the second attempted robber is.
