Published by Junior Staff Writer on February 19, 2011
A male victim was seriously injured in an attack in unincorporated San Lucas early this morning, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, a Soledad resident whose age was not released, told investigators he was invited to a party by “some girls from Facebook,” and had a friend give him a ride to San Lucas, sheriff’s officials said. While walking to the party at about 2:50 a.m., the victim said he was attacked by about three men who severely beat him. He suffered multiple skull fractures, cuts to his face, and scrapes to his arms, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim did not want to identify the location of the attack or anyone involved, and is declining to press charges, sheriff’s officials said.
