Police are searching for a man suspected of raping a victim near San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood this morning, a police dispatcher said. At about 3:35 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Market St. on the report of a suspected rape, according to a police dispatcher. Police described the man as approximately 22 years old with a light complexion, weighing about 160 pounds and nearly 5 feet 10 inches tall. At the time of the alleged rape, police said that he was wearing a gray button down shirt with a blue hat. He has a tree tattoo on his left forearm, police added. Police declined to provide additional information about the location of the alleged rape or the victim.
