* San Mateo and Palo Alto Police Trying to Identify Fraud Suspects

The San Mateo and Palo Alto Police Departments are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects in these photos. San Mateo Detective Alex Rizatto reports that on February 6th 2011, at about 1:00 pm, the victim had credit cards stolen from her unlocked vehicle in Palo Alto. The victim later learned that someone attempted and successfully completed several transactions in Palo Alto, Cupertino, and San Mateo. One successful transaction occurred in San Mateo at the Nordstrom’s Store inside Hillsdale Mall. The female suspect allegedly purchased two Burberry purses valued at $1116.90 with the victim’s Nordstroms credit card. The photo reveals that it appears that she possibly has a tattoo of a bird or eagle on her right wrist. The same two suspects were also photographed allegedly using the stolen cards in Palo Alto. The suspects fled the scene in the Green Honda Odyssea in the photo.
