Published by on February 6, 2011

Two suspected gang members were spotted washing blood off themselves in a public restroom early Sunday morning along with a known gang member in unincorporated Monterey County near King City, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to a report of suspicious circumstance on Wild Horse Road at Mesa Verde Road at 1:50 a.m. Three males and two females were involved in the incident and deputies discovered that all three males were on probation. One of the males was a known gang member and the other two had a court order not to associate with gang members, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office reported. The two men, Greenfield residents Nestor Hernandez, 20, and Joshua Hernandez, 18, were arrested for violation of probation. One of the men had an open wound on his finger and was unable to explain how the injury occurred. A bloody towel was found in the bathroom.
