Authorities report that child’s body has been found in the Delta Mendota Canal. The child has matching clothing and may be the remains of missing child Juliani Cardenas. DNA testing must be completed to have a positive identification. Juliani was allegedly kidnapped from his grandmother’s home 2 weeks ago by Jose Rodriguez and an Amber Alert was issued. A farm worker told sheriff’s deputies he saw a car matching the kidnapping car drive into the canal with a man and a boy in the car. Last Friday deputies pulled over 10 cars including the suspect’s car from the Delta Mendota Canal but there were no bodies found.
