* Kragen Auto Parts and Borolo’s Pizza in Santa Rosa Robbed by Masked Gunmen

Two similar armed robberies took place in Santa Rosa Friday night roughly one hour and three miles apart, police said. At about 6:50 p.m., a suspect wearing a mask and carrying a handgun entered the Kragen Auto Parts store at 1910 Mendocino Ave. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. An hour later, at Borolo’s Pizza located at 500 Mission Blvd., a similar masked suspect demanded cash while brandishing a gun before fleeing on foot. Although the cases were similar in nature, police said, it was unknown if the same suspect committed both robberies.
