* Jerry Fydrych Arrested by Morgan Hill Police for Alleged Auto Burglary

A man was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of burglarizing a vehicle in Morgan Hill, police said. Police responded at about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a suspicious person looking inside parked cars and pushing a shopping cart full of boxes near 260 Berry Court. Officers arrived to find a man, later identified as Jerry Fydrych, 25, in the parking lot behind 17800 Crest Ave., according to police. Police discovered that Fydrych was on probation for drug-related charges, and had items that were allegedly stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the area. Fydrych was arrested on suspicion of auto burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property, and violation of probation. He was later booked into Santa Clara County Jail, police said.
