Police are searching for two men who robbed a San Leandro bank on Monday morning. At about 10:20 a.m., two men entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 1298 East 14th St., police Lt. Jeff Tudor said. One man jumped over the counter and took cash from several tellers while his accomplice stood in front of the counter with a rifle, Tudor said. The pair then fled on foot. Police believe the same men might also have been responsible for robberies at two other San Leandro businesses — a KFC at 15179 Hesperian Blvd. and a Starbucks at 13808 East 14th St., Tudor said. The first suspect was described as a black man, about 25 to 30 years old, with short hair. He was between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 250 to 270 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dark jeans, Tudor said. The second suspect was described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing 215 to 230 pounds. He had dreadlocks and was wearing a black beanie and a dark hooded sweatshirt, Tudor said.
