Four years after a man was shot and killed near a San Francisco nightclub, information being sought leading to the arrest and prosecution of the shooter. On the night of Jan. 6, 2007, two suspects confronted 20-year-old Alberto Casillas and brandished a gun near Club Caliente at 13th and Folsom streets, police said.
Hours later, as Casillas and his friends were driving away from the area at about 2:17 a.m., the suspects fired multiple shots into the driver’s side, striking Casillas, police said. Casillas later died at San Francisco General Hospital.
The suspects are described as two black men, both ages 18 to 25 at the time, one standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and the other was 5 feet 8 inches tall. The suspects’ vehicle was reported as a silver sedan with a low spoiler on the back.
