* San Jose Drive By Shooting Kills 15 Year Old Boy on Auzerias Avenue

San Jose police are searching for suspects in the city’s first homicide of the year, a police spokesman said. At approximately 1:03 a.m., police received a call of a drive-by shooting in the 400 block of Auzerias Avenue, San Jose police Officer Jose Garcia said. Officers found a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds, Garcia said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. Garcia said that an unknown amount of suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and remain at large. As of 2:23 a.m., police had no description of the suspects or the vehicle.
