A man and woman were arrested near a medical clinic on Friday evening on suspicion of violating probation and carrying drugs, police said. Matthew Collier, 31, and Autumn Graham, 29, were allegedly fighting near Scotts Valley Medical Clinic at 2980 El Rancho Drive at about 5:30 p.m., police said. The two denied having fought, police said, but responding officers found methamphetamine allegedly belonging to Collier in a car associated with him. Police also found in the car two rifles and four handguns of Collier’s. One of the rifles was reported stolen during a 1993 residential burglary, police said. Graham was in violation of probation from a previous case, police said. The two were arrested and booked in Santa Cruz County Jail. Collier is a resident of Ben Lomond, which is in Santa Cruz County. Graham is listed as a transient by police. Collier faces charges of drug possession, stolen property possession, and possession of firearms. Graham faces charges of violating probation, police said.
