Redwood City police arrested two suspects today in connection with the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man Sunday night. An 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were taken into custody as part of an investigation into the homicide of Redwood City man Julio Cuevas, who was shot just before 8 p.m. in the 400 block of Madison Avenue, police Detective Sgt. Sean Hart said. Cuevas had been shot once when responding officers found him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Investigators believe as many as eight suspects could have participated in the shooting, which appears to be gang related. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the killing should contact the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
