Redwood City police are investigating an apparent homicide after a man was found shot to death in a northern part of the city on Sunday night,police said. Officers received a call about a man being shot just before 8 p.m. Sunday and responded to the 400 block of Madison Avenue, Redwood City police Sgt. Greg Farley said in a report.Upon arrival, police found the victim – a 21-year-old resident of unincorporated Redwood City – suffering from a single gunshot wound, Farley said. Medical personnel pronounced the young man dead at the scene, he said.Though the motive for the killing is still unknown, police are investigating the homicide as being gang-related, Farley said.Three to six Hispanic men in their late teens to early 20s are being sought in connection with the shooting, Farley said.Anyone with information regarding the killing should contact the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
