* Union City Bank of America Robbed at Gunpoint

Police are searching for a person suspected of robbing a Bank of America at gunpoint in Union City Saturday morning. At about 11 a.m., a male suspect carrying a gun entered a Bank of America on Alvarado Boulevard, and ordered customers and staff onto the floor, police said. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot on Alvarado Boulevard toward Fair Ranch Road. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Union City police (510) 471-1365.
