Two thieves armed with a gun stole a 12-pack of beer from a Concord convenience store early this morning, Concord police Lt. David Hughes said. Someone called police at 12:12 a.m. to report that an armed robbery had just occurred at a 7-Eleven store at 1611 Monument Blvd. When officers contacted the clerk at the store, they were told that two males in their late teens or early 20s wearing black hooded sweatshirts had entered the store and grabbed a 12-pack of Modelo beer. As they were walking out, one of the suspects brandished a handgun at the clerk, police said.
