Three women were attacked and robbed Monday evening while walking in a shopping district in Pleasant Hill, police said.At about 6:25 p.m., the three women were walking along the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard just north of the Sun Valley Shopping Center when four female suspects approached them.The suspects asked to borrow a cell phone and for change of a $5 bill, but then knocked the victims to the ground and began kicking them, according to police.A purse belonging to one of the victims was snatched during the attack before the suspects fled southbound in the direction of the mall, police said.Although Pleasant Hill and Concord police officers searched the area, the suspects, who are black and in their late teens and early 20s, are still at large.The suspects range from 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with thin to medium builds, according to police.One of the women was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, light red plaid shirt, and dark jeans. Another had on a pink sweatshirt and grey jeans, and a third was seen wearing light grey pants and dark colored tennis shoes.The victims suffered minor injuries, police said.
