Police in San Jose were trying to sort out an incident tonight in which two men knocked on a person’s front door armed with a handgun, a police spokesman said. Police received a report of a disturbance, possibly involving a firearm, at about 9 p.m. in the 3300 block of McKee Road, Officer Jose Garcia said. The reporting party was in the home when the suspects came to the door, Garcia said. At least one of the men had a gun, so the person ran from the house through a side or back door. The victim made it to a neighbor’s house and called 911. Responding officers didn’t find anyone in the house, Garcia said. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. “We’re in the first stages of looking into what happened,” Garcia said.
