More than 150 Mexican Marines were involved in a major 3 hour gun battle that killed at least 9 people including Gulf Cartel leader Antonio Ezequiel Cardenas Guillen who had a $5 Million dollar reward offered for his arrest. The University of Texas campus closed all weekend due to violence in Mexico but is set to re-open Monday morning. Four cartel gunmen, 3 marines, a local reporter, and a soldier were all killed in that battle. At least 46 other people were also killed in several other shoot-outs in the city.
All persons depicted are presumed to be innocent unless proven to be guilty in a court of law.
