* Oakland double fatal shooting on 8th Street

A shooting left a man and boy pronounced dead on the street in Oakland this afternoon, police said.Officers responded to a call at about 3:30 p.m. of a shooting near the 1000 block of 8th Street, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said. Arriving police found a man and boy on the street who were pronounced dead of gunshot wounds.Moore said no suspects were taken into custody and that the shooter responsible for the killing possibly fled in a car.It is unclear if the shooting was a random or organized act of violence.No other information was immediately available.
