A shooting in San Francisco’s South of Market District early this morning injured two people, a police spokesman said. Officers received reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Mission Street near Sixth Street at 2:07 a.m., San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said. The two victims — a woman of unknown age and a man believed to be 19 or 20 years old — were shot outside, Esparza said. Both victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where they currently remain for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries, he said. Police did not yet have a suspect description as of 4 a.m., but the investigation is ongoing.
