A man who was stabbed to death in Walnut Creek on Thursday has been identified as 56-year-old Walnut Creek resident Alan Gray, a Contra Costa County deputy coroner said today. Police were called at about 9:20 a.m. to respond to a report of a domestic disturbance in progress on Santa Rita Drive, police said. When officers arrived, they found Gray suffering from stab wounds and investigators believe a woman had inflicted the injuries, police said. Gray was transported to John Muir Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. The woman, 24-year-old Oakland resident Akira Tajah Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to county jail in Martinez, officials said. She is being held on $1 million bail, according to a county jail official.
