* Oakland shooting October 31 on 61st Avenue

One man is recovering in an Oakland hospital today after multiple suspects shot him Sunday night, an Oakland police spokesman said. The Oakland resident suffered multiple gunshot wounds when he was fired upon by three armed suspects in the 2500 block of 61st Avenue at about 8:55 p.m. Sunday, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said.The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition, Moore said.There is currently no description of the three suspects, Moore said.
