A Milpitas man was arrested for driving under the influence after he hit and killed a man in Mountain View early Sunday morning, according to police.The collision occurred at about 2:40 a.m. in the 1900 block of El Camino Real, police said.A 1994 Ford Explorer going west in the No. 3 lane struck and killed 40-year-old Mountain View resident Hector Guadarrama-Rosas as he was walking west in the lane, police said. Guadarrama-Rosas was pronounced dead at the scene.Officers arrested the driver, Luis Madrid, Jr., 34, for vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol.
