One of three men who are suspected of robbing a liquor store in Union City was arrested Friday afternoon, police said. At about 2:15 p.m., the three armed robbers entered Mission View Food and Liquors at 33503 Mission Blvd. and ordered the store’s employees and customers to the ground, according to police. The suspects fled in a white two-door coupe, and a short while later a Fremont police officer stopped a vehicle matching the description. All three men fled the vehicle, but police established a perimeter, searched the area, and were able to locate one of the suspects, who is now in police custody. Police have not yet released the name of the suspect. Several weapons were also recovered over the course of the search.
