* Vallejo shooting at The Marin Market

Vallejo police said Wednesday a man who was shot at The Marin Market Tuesday afternoon is expected to survive. The 23-year-old Vallejo man was found in the parking lot of the convenience store around 5:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Marin Street, police said.He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was flown to the John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, Sgt. Ken Park said. Police are investigating witness reports that the shooting suspect ran into the nearby Marina Vista apartment complex, Park said.
