A 40-year-old man was shot and killed in an East San Jose neighborhood overnight, police said this morning. Police received a report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Bermuda Way at 12:07 a.m., police spokesman Officer Jose Garcia said. Responding officers found the victim in front of a home with a gunshot wound to his back, Garcia said. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have not determined the motive but are investigating the possibility that the shooting was gang-related, Garcia said.
