The Solano County coroner’s office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting Tuesday night as 20-year-old Tony Tavon Swearengin, of Fairfield.Police are searching for four men who burst into a home in Fairfield Tuesday night and fatally shot Swearengin in the living room. Officers responded to the home, located in the 200 block of Hamilton Drive between Auto Mall Parkway and Woolner Avenue, at about 9 p.m. A caller from inside the home told police that his friend had been shot. Arriving officers spoke with several people at the home.The witnesses told police that four unidentified men had entered through the front door, at least one armed with a rifle.The armed man said something about killing the victim before he opened fire in the living room,striking the victim four times in the upper torso.The suspects, described only as black males wearing dark clothing and ski masks, then fled through the front door. Swearengin was transported by ambulance to NorthBay Medical Center and was pronounced dead at approximately 10:40 p.m.An investigation of the homicide is ongoing.
