* Ryan Gillis Arrested by San Jose Police for the Alleged Shooting Death of Tyson Krider


On Thursday, October 21, 2010 at approximately 10:56 PM, San Jose Police Officers responded to person shot in the 2100 block of Hikido Drive in San Jose.  Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male victim, later identified as Tyson Krider, outside of the residence.  He suffered a gun shot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Suspect Ryan Gillis, a 28-year-old male was arrested at the scene without incident.  He was subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on murder charges.  This case remains under investigation. The motive has yet to be confirmed. This marks San Jose’s nineteenth homicide of the year.
