Two men robbed a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Benicia at gunpoint on Monday night, police said. The suspects entered the restaurant at 155 Military West through the rear door at about 9 p.m. They confronted two employees who were in a refrigerator and ordered them to get cash from the restaurant’s office, police said. The suspects took the cash and left through the rear door. The employees were not hurt and no vehicle was seen, police said. Another employee and two customers who were in the store at the time were unaware of the robbery, police said. The suspects are described as white men between 20 and 25 years old. Both were dressed in black hooded sweatshirts and wore bandanas over their faces, police said. One was armed with a black pistol and the other had a silver handgun, police said.
