* Omar Villagomez Meza arrested on suspicion of robbing a victim at gunpoint while wearing a Halloween mask in Redwood City

Police have arrested a teenage boy on suspicion of robbing a victim at gunpoint while wearing a Halloween mask early this morning in Redwood City, according to the San Carlos Police Department. Omar Villagomez Meza, 18, of Redwood City, was arrested and booked in San Mateo County Jail, police said.At about 12:30 a.m., the victim was walking alone on Alameda De Las Pulgas near Eaton Avenue, police said.A white Toyota Camry with four occupants pulled alongside the victim and stopped, police said, and two of its rear passengers stepped out. One of the suspects, who was wearing a Halloween mask, pulled out a gun and pushed the victim to the ground, police said. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone and wallet and then fled in the Toyota. After police were notified of the incident, an officer noticed a vehicle matching the Toyota’s description drive into a 7-Eleven store parking lot. Meza was then arrested in connection with the robbery, police said.He was allegedly found carrying cocaine and tools for burglary at the time of his arrest, according to police. He faces charges of robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, possession of cocaine, and resisting arrest.The three other suspects who were in the Camry are still at large, police said.
