San Jose, CA January 26th, 2005–Fugitive Watch is proud to announce the capture of Fugitive Francisco Ramirez Perez after being featured on Fugitive Watch Television Program, making him the 701st fugitive to be apprehended. On Wednesday January 26th 2005 a Fugitive Watch Television viewer called to report recognizing Perez. At about 2:00 pm members of the San Jose Police Department’s elite MERGE unit surrounded his hideout in the 1600 block of Karl Street in east San Jose. According to Sergeant Dave Newman, officers found Perez hiding in the bathroom and he surrender without incident.
The Santa Clara County District Attorneys Office was seeking Francisco Ramirez Perez on a No Bail Allowed warrant charging him with Violation of Probation for Failing to Provide a DNA Sample as required by law. Detective John Cook reports that Perez was placed on probation after being convicted of Domestic Violence.
