Three Santa Rosa residents were arrested Thursday on suspicion of illegally peddling marijuana out of a Santa Rosa motel, police said.Police went to the Astro Motel at 515 Santa Rosa Ave. at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday after observing several people suspiciously go to and from one of the motel rooms, police said.Officers found four suspects at the room, and a search of the room revealed a loaded semi-automatic gun and marijuana packaged for sale, police said.Police arrested Santa Rosa residents Anthony Baca, 30, Lisa Soules, and Rita Castle, both 25. Baca was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale, possession of concentrated marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of hypodermic syringes. He was also in violation of probation, police said.Soules was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale, concentrated marijuana, controlled substances, and hypodermic syringes.Castle was arrested for parole violation and having access to a firearm.No one was reported injured during the incident, and no information has been given on the fourth suspect in the motel room.
