* Leah Bridges was arrested in Santa Cruz County for stealing items from residential burglaries

A woman was arrested in Aptos earlier this week after Santa Cruz County sheriff’s deputies found items stolen from recent residential burglaries at her home. Leah Bridge, 44, was arrested at her home Tuesday during a probation search conducted by deputies. Deputies found items they believe were stolen from numerous burglaries, including antiques, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office retrieved many household items and returned a number of them to the owners, but detectives do not know who some of the items belong to.
