East Bay Regional Park District police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three men who robbed two people at gunpoint on the Delta de Anza Trail in Pittsburg on Monday.The two victims, a man and a woman, were walking on the trail between Gladstone Drive and Desrys Boulevard at about 4:40 p.m. when three men approached them.The men blocked their path and each pulled out a black semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at the victims.One suspect demanded the male victim’s wallet and then removed it from his rear pants pocket, police said.A second suspect took the female victim’s purse off her shoulder. The purse contained a pink-and-black Metro PCS slider phone, police said.The suspects then fled south down a dirt path leading away from the trail. All three were described as black men between 20 and 25 years old. The first was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black pants, a red shirt and a red bandana over his face.The second suspect was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 170 pounds. He had shoulder-length dreadlocks and was wearing a blue T-shirt and black jeans.The third suspect was also about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He had cropped hair and was wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans.
