The Fairfield Police Department is seeking additional witnesses to a Sunday evening shooting in the city that left one boy injured.Police received multiple calls around 7:12 p.m. Sunday about gunshots being fired in the 1900 of Grande Circle in southern Fairfield near the Suisun City border. Officers responding to the scene found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a single gunshot wound, police said. His injury was not life-threatening. Witnesses reported seeing three African-American men running from the area of the crime, police said. The men are described as being between 18 and 20 years old.One of the suspects was wearing a white t-shirt and light blue jeans, police said. Another of the men was wearing a gray shirt and black pants.The three suspects fled the area in a gray Honda with a spoiler on the trunk, police said.Police believe there were additional witnesses to the crime due to the timing and location of the incident, and they are asking people with information to come forward.
