Two people were injured early this morning in a shooting at the Cow Palace in Daly City, police said. Officers responded to reports of gunshots fired near the south hall of the Cow Palace at 2600 Geneva Ave. at around 12:55 a.m., Daly City police Sgt. David Mackriss said. A private party was being held in the south hall for members of the Bay Area Desperados Motorcycle Club. Arriving officers found one person suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were potentially life threatening, Mackriss said. A second victim, a female, was also found suffering a gunshot wound and taken to San Francisco General Hospital. She was expected to survive her injury, according to police. Officers say they attempted to stop a motorcyclist who was seen driving recklessly from the scene. The suspect fled onto U.S. Highway 101 and lost control near Cesar Chavez Street. The man was hospitalized and is no longer believed to be involved in the shooting. Investigators are searching for a suspect believed to be a black male who was seen wearing a black hoodie with orange lettering or an orange design.
