Two men were arrested Friday on suspicion of fatally shooting a man in Daly City in June. Carlos Mejia-Quintanilla, 20, and David Mejia-Sensente, 26, are accused of killing Alexander Temaj-Castanon on the 6200 block of Mission Street. On June 21, police received reports of shots fired near the crime scene and found Temaj-Castanon wounded from gunshots. He was declared dead at
the scene. Police arrested the two alleged killers on Friday after months of investigation. The two face one count of murder using a firearm and a gang enhancement. They are considered members of the MS-13 gang, which is originally from El Salvador, according to police. Police link the gang to a 2009 homicide in Daly City, and a 2008 murder of a man and his two sons in San Francisco.
