A 26-year-old man was arrested in Vallejo on Tuesday morning after a search warrant of his home revealed 11,000 Ecstasy pills, other drugs, and two firearms, police said today. Marcus Jamal Davis was arrested after police detectives executed a search warrant at about 8 a.m. Tuesday at his home at 601 Mark Ave. as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Inside the home, investigators found 11,000 Ecstasy pills, with a street value of about $110,000, 6 ounces of marijuana with a street value of $1,800, and promethazine and codeine, otherwise known as “syrup” or “purple drink,” according to police. Detectives also found a loaded .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol that had previously been reported stolen, as well as an AK-47 replica .22-caliber rifle. Davis was arrested and booked into Solano County jail on suspicion of drugs and weapons offenses. He also has a previous conviction for
narcotics violations, police said.
