A man was arrested Sunday in Gilroy on suspicion of raping an intoxicated girl, police said.The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Oscar Castro, of Gilroy, was arrested at about 11:20 a.m. after police received a call from the victim reporting she had been raped earlier that morning, according to police.Castro was located nearby and arrested without incident. Detectives and crime scene investigators collected evidence from a home in the 200 block of Farrell Avenue where the rape had allegedly occurred. Castro was booked into Santa Clara County’s mail jail on charges of rape of an intoxicated person and penetration with a foreign object when the victim is unable to consent due to intoxication.
