Two teenagers were injured in a possibly gang-related shooting in Fairfield Friday evening, police said. At about 5:30 p.m. Friday, the victims, ages 15 and 17, were shot in the Parkway Gardens condominium complex on El Toro Court, according to police. Responding officers found the 15-year-old victim, who had been shot in the hand. Around the same time, police also learned the 17-year-old victim had arrived at NorthBay Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to the hospital by three people who dropped him off in the lobby and drove away before officers arrived.Investigators believe a dark blue, mid-1990s model Buick LeSabre with four people inside was on Del Paso Court when it drove by the 15-year-old victim. At least one person in the car shot the teen with an unknown-caliber firearm, police said. The Buick then drove toward East Pacific Avenue, and one of the suspects shot the 17-year-old as he stood at the corner of San Miguel Drive and East Pacific Avenue, according to police. Both victims’ injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The suspect vehicle was last seen exiting the condo complex on East Pacific Avenue. No arrests have been made, and the vehicle has not been found. The shooting is possibly gang-related and is being investigated by
the Fairfield Police Department’s gang unit. Please call the Fugitive Watch hot line at 1-800-9-CAUGHT (1-800-922-8448) or text us at 408-355-0999 or CLICK HERE to send a confidential email tip, if you have any information that can help solve this crime.
