Two Oakland men were arrested after a police chase Thursday on suspicion of committing several residential burglaries in San Ramon, San Ramon police said today. At 10:37 a.m., San Ramon police officers spotted a vehicle believed to be associated with the burglaries. The officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. The officers chased it into San Leandro. Alameda County sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers took over the pursuit and arrested the suspects. San Ramon police searched the vehicle and found property that had been stolen from a residence in San Ramon just before the chase began, police said. The suspects have since been linked to several other burglaries in San Ramon, and police are working with neighboring law enforcement agencies as they continue their investigation. Marcos Fragoso, 21, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and flight from a pursuing officer with willful or wonton disregard for public safety, police said. Danzel Harbin, 20, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Both men were booked into county jail in Martinez.
